DOMESTIC RULES

of the Public Internet Centre (PIC)

1. The PIC is open free of charge during nine hours according to the established opening hours.
2. The PIC is open in the reading room of the library ( 14 Wiedemanni Steet)

TUESDAY -  FRIDAY   10.00 - 18.00

SATURDAY                 10.00 – 15.00

SUNDAY , MONDAY              closed

3. The PIC serves users on the ground of a living line.
4. On the occasion of a queue the maximum time per users is 30 minutes.
5. If the PIC is not fully booked, the services can be rendered according to the agreement with the librarian.
6. One working place can be used by only one client at a time.

7.       The users of the PIC should keep quiet in the working room. All the misunderstandings and pretentions should be solved according to the requirements of good manner.

8. The PIC client is not allowed:
• to use his or her own info carriers
• to use his or her personal copy paper
• to use payable internet sites
• to damage hardware and know-how
9. The user of the PIC can save information on the floppy disks or copy paper bought from the PIC worker.
10.  The user of the PIC should use the computers carefully and avoid the acts that can damage them.
11. The worker of the PIC should be informed about all the failures and damages of the computer or the program.
12. The user of the PIC must compensate all the damages to the computer or attachments that have occurred through the user's fault.
13. The user of the PIC is not responsible for the technical defects of the computer or attachments that were not caused by the user.
14. The Central Library of Lääne County has the right to change the domestic rules and user's regulations in case of need.
